Light the town!
OK, this time I mean it -- this is the new open thread meant to keep you going between now and Aug. 20. I'm sure there'll be plenty of thuggery and what not for everyone to discuss while I'm away. Keep it real and the mean people from Philly.com (just kidding...they're very nice) won't shut you down. See you in about 12-13 days!

- "CHECK BACK IN 3 YEARS- OBAMA AND HIS ADMIN ARE A COMPLETE MESS- A FIASCO- A JOKE- A BOONDOGGLE....." . . . . . . . LOL, but by then, we'll all be in FEMA camps arguing for our lives to death panels, Genius. I need a sure bet now so I can finance my escape to Mexico.

OBAMA LIES, GRANDMA DIES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WriteWinger- So, did Michelle Bachman's kid volntarily sign up for Obama's re-education camp, or was he kidnapped by brown shirts?
- Winger, if one of Rupert Murdoch's rag reports it, you know it's got to be the fair and balanced truth: http://www.starmagazine.com/sarah_palin_todd_shattered_marriage/news/15939
ANOTHER OBAMA LIE EXPOSED: "AARP tells Obama: No health plan endorsement yet." The jerk at the White House lied yesterday when he said he had their endorsement in his hip pocket. What a surprise. WriteWinger- Gallup sez only 36% of Americans are opposed to the health care reform bill. We obviously haven't been paying attention, and need to be told bigger lies about the bill. Any ideas?
- Obama: "We have the AARP onboard because they know this is a good deal for our seniors." AARP: "We share the President’s commitment to act this year, and our members appreciate his insistence that any final reform package will not reduce Medicare benefits for the millions of people that literally depend on that program as a lifeline." Sounds like they're on board to me.

Uhh, AARP denied today being on board or supporting ANY of the health reform measure being proposed. valentsgrif
Ah, and for Will: if you don't need a Tylenol, or even a baby aspirin for pain afterwords, it ain't torture. Water on the face, panties on the head....? Scary, maybe. But it aint' torture without bringing the pain. valentsgrif- "Uhh, AARP denied today being on board or supporting ANY of the health reform measure being proposed." . . . . . I offered a direct quote from their press release which supports the President's efforts. The best you can do is a RNC talking point?
- "The Messiah's lies are tough to defend, eh?" . . . . . LOL, I'm the only poster here quoting him directly. Come now batty, show me the money quote where Obama claims AARP has endorsed any particular bill. It doesn't get any easier than that.
- "if you don't need a Tylenol, or even a baby aspirin for pain afterwords, it ain't torture." . . . . . . . Ummm, because it stopped? Glad we cleared that up.
