"Won't be for another 4 years." Wrong. This type of coverage begins much sooner and many companies have voluntarily started immediately. "Secondly, they can still get health care from ERs, cahrity, or their own money." And who do you think pays for it when they go to ERs? Also, they get care for broken bones etc. at the ER but longterm chemotherapy??? Try that at an ER or even paying for it with your own funds. Charity, one or two cases of longterm care will wipe most small charities out. Your naive view of the world is telling and in not so life and death situation is is kind of sweet how you think everyone should depend on the kindness of strangers.
