Just read this story -- it is amazing. It may not be the most pressing issue of our time, but it says so much about the sad state of the media and hero worship in 2013.

What I find striking is the depth of the research that goes into this story when stories that need real investigation get nothing. This is sad, but it's hardly important!

"the cover up of Benghazi"

The only people who see Benghazi as a "coverup" are avid Fox "News" watchers. Seriously.

I'm waiting for a Mark Steyn, Glenn Beck or some Congressman from Texas to circulate the theory that President Obama was behind the Sandy Hook school massacre in order "advance his gun control agenda." The paranoid right wing survivalists will eat that conspiracy up.

It's only a matter of time.

Oh well, at least in this case the damage is cosmetic really and the lack of vetting did not end up ushering into office a tyrant that would fundamentally destroy the greatest country on God's green earth.

Not sure if you saw it at the same place, but I saw that on Anderson Cooper's show. Why bring up some random conspiracy theorist? Yes, I know he's a professor, but what's the point of shining a light on that nonsense? Then Anderson mentions websites with the same conspiracy theories, but won't show the URLs because he doesn't want to give them traffic.

A Turkish diplomat had just left the "consulate" before the attack. Were they meeting to play bridge? Or perhaps something to do with running guns to Islamist rebels in Syria.

Wok says bridge. So does our watchdog media. What a laugh.
