All great topics I didn't blog about because:
1) The Daily News had more breaking news stories tonight than it had reporters.
2) Once that was passed, the DN Internet seemed to be under attack from North Korea.
Tomorrow. Definitely Yoo. And Coste. Especially Yoo.

Why do Republicans want America to fail?
The Coste move looked good for one night anyhow, when Bako got the big 9th inning hit. But even as he slumped, Coste still was way more productive at the plate than Bako or Mayberry have been. Mayberry, in particular, ought to be in AAA playing every day, not sitting in the bench watching the varsity. If they felt they needed a right hand bat off the bench, go get a journeyman with major league experience so Mayberry can continue to develop. He is potentially an every day corner outfielder. This is not going to help him any.
I wonder if any of those "breaking news stories" will include the fact that the President of that swim club was a big Obambi supporter? Guess they'll scrub that story just like they scrubbed AG Holder dropping charges against the New Black Panthers. The Daily News & Inquirer. Your place for selective news.
Yeah, I'm sure no Repubs hate minorities. Pot calling the kettle black.
Awesome! Thanks for the info.
Cold & wet in Melbourne, Australia today. Guess who's visiting? (http://blogs.news.com.au/dailytelegraph/timblair/index.php/dailytelegraph/comments/he_bringeth_rain/)
Oh goodie, I can't wait for bunch to don his brown shirt and jackboots and weigh in with another rousing defense of 'free speech'. Why does bunch hate Americans who happen to disagree with his political point of view?
What, no comments about how Will is a cut-and-paster and not a reporter? >>sigh<< Ooooh, okay, I'll do it. Hi, I'm a right wing idiot who doesn't know the difference between a blog post and a news piece, and Will is…nope, can’t do it. Wingnuts, help me out here.
Now the racists at the pool want the kids back? How convenient.
"Yeah, I'm sure no Repubs hate minorities. Pot calling the kettle black." Ever been to a local trade union hall? Yeah, I'm sure no Democrats hate minorities. White Democrats calling the black guys...well, it can't be repeated here.
C'mon, rhythm! Hut, 2, 3, 4. Black guys help the white guys...
Mr. Baseball--Mayberry is better served playing every day in LV, but the Phillies need a right-handed bat with a little bit of power. Mayberry offers that without the team having to give up anything in order to bring in a journeyman. And, Coste's performance has been declining for the last year and a half. His road to the majors was a great story, but it was time for him to move on.
Gotta love the Hate Americans First crowd - oh, but for them it's not a question of "hating Americans" because they know who the "real" Americans are. They just hate the 74% of the country that isn't part of their increasingly marginalized minority... Oh, and they support "democracy" as long as it elects people they like. If they don't like them, they simply change the terms. Kinda like, you know, Iran's mullahs. Good work, guys. No, really...
As much as I like Coste letting him go was the right move. Myberry has more pop and gives the Phillies more flexibility - pitch runner, defensive replacement for Ibanez, can play all three outfield spots. Look how much better the Phillies outfield is this year than last - Shane & Werth are having better seasons, Ibanez instead of Burrell, Stairs LH PH instead of Jenkins, and Mayberry in the utility role over So Taguchi.
E.Pleb, why do you support white Democrats who discriminate against black people? Why do you hate black Americans?
