I think people expecting a more defined ending to the Democratic race tonight will be disappointed:

Once he reaches the magic number of 2,118, Clinton will acknowledge that he has secured the necessary delegates to be the nominee.

The former first lady will stop short of formally suspending or ending her race in her speech in New York City.

She will pledge to continue to speak out on issues like health care. But for all intents and purposes, the two senior officials said, the campaign is over.

So why will Clinton "stop short of formally suspending or ending her race"? Because she's still in search of "the perfect wave" -- some scandal that will make Obama unelectable, to come out between now and late August. And that's what will make it an endless summer.

Aw, shucks. I was looking forward to a face painter, maybe some jugglers, a karaoke station, and perhaps even a cute little cake with icing. Good thing Will tempered my enthusiasm. Yeah, I am very disappointed. We heard that the cake was supposed to be yummy.

There have been endless rumors about Michele Obama on a tape, saying either 'whitey' or 'why'd he'. Bob Beckel, on Fox and Friends this morning, said something about a bombshell coming out tomorrow regarding the Obama camp. But this alleged story has dragged out so long, I'll believe it when I see it. I imagine Hillary is suspending her campaign and laying off staffers so she can plow more money into digging into Obama's background for the next couple of months. But I've otherwise given up making predictions for this election season.

Wow, Xi Jah, so you've spent months posting inane, and often factually and logically challenged comments about a candidate you believe has no chance in November? Wow, that would be like a lib constantly commenting on Tom Tancredo, wouldn't it?
