Jimi Hendrix would have turned 70 today. Had he lived, he'd be playing at the Borgata in Atlantic City...something to think about.

I read Capton's autobiography. He said that after the first time he watched Hendrix play, he thought about never picking up the guitar again. I've never been a huge Hendrix fan but when you hear a guy like Eric Clapton, who was the only guest musician to ever appear on a Beatles album (While My Guitar Gently Weeps), speak like that of Jimi Hendrix, it makes you appreciate just how talented - and ahead of his time - the man was.
