Our local daily won't publish any letter to the editor until they have contacted the letter writer by telephone (and I think they might look askance at a "foreign" area code), which is probably a good idea. That said, I do agree with "Ellie," whether or not she is a real person. Most of the letters that appear in our local daily are filled with errors about the Obama administration and its plans, so something sensible and supporting is a nice change.- Comment removed.

Wow, one election and the right wing thinks that somehow everything has changed (they and the media, which is almost saying the same thing anymore). It will be funny to see their comments when this November isn't quite the second coming of Jesus they seem to think it will be. Cue the blame ACORN sound track.
