wow, rudy just killed and now Sarah is on a roll....bunch and the media are like jealous school children, they have no idea how to respond so they just throw stones and try to bring them down...sorry folks, we couldnt care less about what you think

I especially liked the part about the bridge to nowhere. Except she forgot to mention she kept the federal funds. Or about her $27 mil in earmarks for a town of 6k. Or how she cut real estate tax but raised sales tax there. But she did bring out those scary words like "media", "Washington elite", and "terrorism". If it weren't so sad, it would be funny, but its become clear that McCain is now trying to run on a platform of change.
I wonder if there's a thrill going up Chris Matthews's leg. After that speech, there's prolly something stinky running down his leg.

Will's posts -- strike outs looking, never gets good wood on the ball, never makes contact, pitchers know how to work him over... really doesnt belong on the 25man active roster... better suited to AA ball.

Glad to see all of you commenting on the content of her speech since you are all about "issues". Instead we get guesses of what is in Will and Chris Matthews pants, name calling, and poor baseball analogies.

RG... She made fun of Global Warming. Do you think that is smart? How can you argue with Scientists? She wants to Drill in Alaska and use Clean Coal. Clean Coal is an oxymoron.

She read a teleprompter and threw in some personal anecdotes, including the misrepresentation about the bridge. Somehow, I don't remember the substantive parts. "An initial version of the address, which speechwriter Matthew Scully started crafting a week ago for an unnamed male vice presidential pick, included plenty of attacks aimed at Democratic nominee Barack Obama along with ample praise for McCain, aides said. But they said Palin's speech will focus more on substantive matters."
