Hey, everybody, it's the End of the Iraq War Day. I guess that explains the throngs of men in old-timey sailor suits randomly kissing young gals that I saw on the way into the office.
OK, maybe there's not much reason to celebrate today. Here's one reason why not. We'll talk about another one later today.
If you want to celebrate something important today, it's also Bill of Rights day. You know, that document that allows you to write and publish drivel and me to tote a gun. Happy BR day, Will! Bucks County Mike
I prefer to be a bit more positve instead of picking the incident that makes america look the worst. But then again, I dont long for the return of Saddam either. I'm sure no American committed attrocities in WW II. They say war is hell for a reason. tr88

Either that, or maybe Obama and the NDAA is what I'm blogging about later today. Stay tuned! Regarding atrocities, I do believe in personal responsibility but at the end of the day I can't really blame the rank and file troops who've been placed in a horrible position. I blame the chicken-hawk politicians who sent them over there for no good reason. will
Will, how many days until the Daily Snooze is closed? CD75
Will over the years you rarely write of personal responsibility. Citizens in your world recive answers from above and follow as you cite. However, you support causes where personal responsibility is not the cause. OWS being the largest cause of late. Your cure all is larger govt and less individual responsibility (unless you’re a Republican). Fisher

"I blame the chicken-hawk politicians who sent them over there for no good reason."Have you ever questioned if your support of increasing taxes, helps fund these senseless wars and the continuing military buildup? Without a massive revenue stream, this wouldn't be possible. RG

Panetta said a free Iraq was worth the blood and treasure expended over the years. That is the OFFICIAL position of the Obama administration. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it. jmc
