Doubling down on the dumb

Doubling down on the dumb

Despite unpopularity numbers so high it's very likely he'll be the first Pennsylvania governor not to be re-elected since two terms became an option a half-century ago, Tom Corbett, space cadet, seems determined to ride the Tea Party rocket into the ground. The lead sentence of this story puts it pretty succinctly:

Governor Tom Corbett today announced that Pennsylvania will not move ahead with its own insurance exchange to help individuals and small business find affordable health insurance.

I smell the makings of a 2014 campaign slogan -- "Tom Corbett, not helping individuals and small businesses since 2011".
