To be honest, Talk Like A Pirate Day wasn't that much fun this year so 2009 can only be better. Sort of like the economy, I Hope.

If you want to be a Pirate go to Gasparilla in Tampa!!! The party falls the weekend between the AFC/NFC Championship games and the Super Bowl. Complete blast!!!!!!
CORRECTION - This year Gasparilla is the week after the Super Bowl (Feb 7, 2009) probably because the SB is in Tampa.

batty - Please, share with us where you read or saw that all problems would go away when Obama was elected (other than whiny conservative blogs lamenting well in advance why they expected to be relegated to the wilderness after Nov 4th).
