But did they live happily ever after?

POSTED: Tuesday, June 3, 2008, 6:33 PM

Jan. 7, 2008:

"This whole thing is the biggest fairy tale I've ever seen." -- Bill Clinton.

June 3, 2008:

New York -- Barack Obama effectively clinched the Democratic presidential nomination Tuesday, based on an Associated Press tally of convention delegates, becoming the first black candidate ever to lead his party into a fall campaign for the White House.

The sequel's going to be harder to pull off.

'conservative' isn't working. Perhaps if we could find some real conservatives (unlike the people in power now that spend far too much and apparently think 'big government' is a good thing), things would be diferent. It's time to allow the 'liberals' a chance. Enough is enough. 8 years of big deficits, a failed war in Iraq and the shredding of the constitution are enough. Obama for president!

After pretty much ripping Hillary and Bill apart for 6 months, I predict the media will commence the Clinton love-fest now that their man has clinched.

b.atk I know that the right-wing National Journal called Barack the most liberal Senator, but they called Kerry the most liberal Senator 4 years ago and said when Gore was running that he had been the most liberal Senator when he was a Senator. I personally am happy that Barack is a liberal, but he is nowhere near as liberal as Barbara Boxer and Russ Feingold, just to name two. You right-wingers actually hurt your arguments when you persistently push something as a fact that is simply not true. The Big Lie has had its day.

b.atk you don't have to go far to see the very real racism that you talk about. Just look right here on good ol ATTYTOOD and read quotes from IDIOTS like "tommy john."

atkinson, how come every Democratic candidate is the "most liberal" for any office? Can't you guys ever come up with anything new. How come every repub candidate is the dumbest? I guess that's really the meaning of the term conservative: can't think of anything new so we'll just keep trotting out the same crap. Saves us from actually using our brains, small as they are.

It is going to be tough beating McCain. Hillary's big votes in Appalachia and Puerto Rico demonstrates that you can fool some of the people some of the time, as if that had not already been proved by Bush's 2004 election. Barack may stumble by telling the truth to the American people, who simply are not ready to listen hard enough to recognize truth from lies.

I am quite happy. Reading this only adds to my happiness. It is an easy consistent way to get a laugh, even though Bunch is not trying to be funny. Still think Ryan Howard needs to be demoted?

I am willing to bet good money that Hillary won't be the VP on the Democratic ticket. Too much of a downside. Maybe Secretary of State later on.

They will not live happily ever after until Prince Charming slays the Wicked Witch. He'd be a fool to put her on the ticket. Gov. Sebelius is the way to go.
