Boing -- Barack getting his bounce?

POSTED: Thursday, August 28, 2008, 1:22 PM

Midway through the Dems' convention, Obama gets a 5-point bump in Gallup's daily tracking poll. Maybe the surge is working after all -- you wouldn't sense that if you watch a lot of cable TV.

And don't forget, because it's based on a 3-day roll, that means polls taken on Monday, before the convention, are still included in the total. Ultimately, though, this is meaningless, but Obama has also bumped in the state-level polls, as I described on the previous thread.

Looks like Obama is on the right side of a surge for a change.

Hey Genius: Your first word says it all for neo-cons: "Ugh". Get used to it. PS: I'm a lawyer too, and I'll match my ethics against anyone else's.

Xi Jah: Psst! The convention isn't over yet. And it's a rolling poll, as I mentioned, so we really have to wait until Monday to get a true post-convention number.

The Corporate Controlled Media wants fluctuations in the polls. The tighter the race, the more revenue they receive.

Still only up by 5 points in PA. If he loses PA which I believe he will, the election is over.

First Xi Jah anoints him the messiah, now he's calling him Hitler. I think there's an outbreak of Obama Derangement Syndrome. Its odd how much time these guys spend on bashing a "fringe" candidate who has "no shot" in November. It'd be like me focusing on Tom Tancredo.

Or Rudy Giuliani... Or Mitt Romney... Or Fred "The Savior" Thompson... Or, you know, John McCain...
