Attention newspaper geeks

1) "Are newspapers doomed? (Do we care?)" -- this looks likely a more lively discussion than most of them. (Hat tip to Jeff Jarvis, who of course has a lot of his own ideas about this.) 2) The Pulitzers are announced at 3 p.m. today -- that should tell us something about the state of newspapers.
