Al Gore the Science Guy

Al Gore the Science Guy

POSTED: Wednesday, February 2, 2011, 1:22 PM

For some reason it's a lot easier to say a guy is fat, or whatever, than admit that he's right:

As it turns out, the scientific community has been addressing this particular question for some time now and they say that increased heavy snowfalls are completely consistent with what they have been predicting as a consequence of man-made global warming:

"In fact, scientists have been warning for at least two decades that global warming could make snowstorms more severe. Snow has two simple ingredients: cold and moisture. Warmer air collects moisture like a sponge until it hits a patch of cold air. When temperatures dip below freezing, a lot of moisture creates a lot of snow.”

"A rise in global temperature can create all sorts of havoc, ranging from hotter dry spells to colder winters, along with increasingly violent storms, flooding, forest fires and loss of endangered species.”

This has been another edition of simple answers to Bill O'Reilly's simple questions.

===]]] If it were the left who understood scientific fact, why were Boxer and Byrd on CSPAN in 2007 stating a lack of snow was evidence for climate change? [[[===

If it were "the right" who understood scientific fact, why are there so many Republican politicians who say they believe that the Earth is 6,000k years old?

===]]] I still have snow from weeks ago, our temps haven't hit above 40 degrees, and I haven't seen a rainbow in winter. [[[===

That post? Well, I wouldn't exactly call that a "point," but sure, since you're begging for it, I'll respond.

RG doesn't seem to understand the difference between weather and climate.

Once again the ultra-selective TPS shows up.

TPS why not respond where the post was? Afraid people would see MSL's post which RG directly responded to which stated:

"But the six inches of snow that my patch of WV got last week melted as temps hovered over 50 degrees last night. I saw a rainbow in winter for the first time in my life this morning."

Why no reprimand of MSL not knowing the difference between weather and climate?????
