Expert: "If you're super-wealthy, it's a good year to die"

I should note that even as a Yankee hater I was saddened to hear of George Steinbrenner's passing while on vacation -- he was a man who brought the words of Nick Lowe's biggest hit -- "You've got to be cruel to be kind" -- to life on a regular basis.

Whatever you thought of Steinbrenner, the guy was winner. And in this mixed-up, muddled-up shook-up world called the United States of America, you could argue the guy even knew when to die.
