The tale of two tapes

POSTED: Tuesday, October 2, 2012, 9:28 PM

Both of these speeches are not new, yet both got pushed out there tonight. You may well ask yourself, which one are you better off with running the country for the next four years?

This one:

And so God is asking us today to remember that miracle of that baby. And He is asking us to take that bullet out once more.

If we have more black men in prison than are in our colleges and universities, then it's time to take the bullet out. If we have millions of people going to the emergency room for treatable illnesses like asthma; it's time to take the bullet out. If too many of our kids don’t have health insurance; it's time to take the bullet out. If we keep sending our kids to dilapidated school buildings, if we keep fighting this war in Iraq, a war that never should have been authorized and waged, a war that's costing us $275 million dollars a day and a war that is taking too many innocent lives -- if we have all these challenges and nothing's changing, then every minister in America needs to come together -- form our own surgery teams -- and take the bullets out.

Or this one:

Today, 70 percent of Americans get more benefits from the federal government in dollar value than they pay back in taxes. So you could argue that we're already past that [moral] tipping point. The good news is survey after survey, poll after poll, still shows that we are a center-right 70-30 country. Seventy percent of Americans want the American dream. They believe in the American idea. Only 30 percent want the welfare state. What that tells us is at least half of those people who are currently in that category are there not of their wish or their will.

Say what you will about the 2012 candidates, and about the state of American politics. But you can't say the American people don't have a real choice.

Republicans talk the economy and the failed 9/11 fiasco everyday. But when loons like Bunch stir the pot with off topic nonsense and anti-Romney nonsense, that gets attention. That gets people's attention and takes the dialogue off of the real issues like 4 years of economic failure and a 9/11 terrorist attack that killed 4 Americans. We know how the media summed up that incident-Romney had a bad week. Case closed. Class dismissed.

“We can’t expect them to have all the skills they need to govern. They may need help with basic skills, how to lead from the front, how to show up for daily security briefings, how to create jobs...."

Obamaa- is a racist, redistributionist incompetent who should never have been elected POTUS. Just how much more does he have to do to destroy America before people like the Will the Shill and his fans on this board stop covering for him?

Ayn Ryan - sorry, is he even ON this ticket? The way they keep this scum bag on the back burner makes Sarah Palin look like the new Macy's roll out. Oh and how funny are the comments that "the debates are the best way for Mittens to turn the tide after a bad September"...Oops - wasn't the convention in August? The reason September was so bad is these dingbats put up this ticket....That sound you hear every time one of these junior nazis opens his Bain Capital-sized pie hole? Another 100K votes running, screaming, toward Obama.

Hey Larry - look up land ownership, familial wealth and the growth of the middle class from post WWII and compare that to the time blacks could actually own land after the abolition of slavery. Oh, what? Too many multi-syllabic words? Not a surprise.

Cicero - look up the success rate of legal immigrants who came to America with no land and no familial wealth.
Then ask yourself why Obama has "declared war" on the suburban and rural middle class?

16 trillion in debt. Hundreds of trillions in unfunded liabilities. One candidate sees this as a problem. The other does not. The choice is clear. Send the baby boomer who has never had a real job in his life packing.

The Obama campaign must be getting nervous with the polls tightening so it's time to pull out the big guns. Romney's Garbage man:

20 years in the pews of JW, where he "never heard him say anything particularly controversial". What a LSOS. One of his TWO "autobiographies" named after one of his sermons. Gave America's most rabid anti-Semite Farakhan a Man of the Year award. America had it coming on 9/11, right Barry? Hope. Change.

I'm curious to see if Romney goes off message tonight. Foot in mouth disease will ensue.

Funny, I was talking to a buddy of mine - hardcore Republican. Still believes Obama isn't an American. I said "What about the birth certificate?". He said he just doesn't believe it. Then I read posts by World Series and the simpleton who calls himself thoughtful, and it's the same thing. The whole party has been subsumed into a bunch of Limbaugh/Beck/Hannity zombies, similar to the Michael Jackson Thriller video, where conservatives are perpetual victims of the "liberal media", pollsters, fact checkers, RINOs, unions, scientists, Hollywood, activist judges (who sometimes happen to be Republicans) and anyone else who doesn't listen to Hate Radio and Fox and Friends..

I personally believe Obama is racist. It shocked me when I heard his audio autobiography referring to his grandmother as a "typical white person" because she crossed the street when she saw a black man. Obama just hides his racism well unlike people like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson.
