Yuja Wang

Gramophone Magazine has declared its love for Yuja Wang. The 22-year-old pianist - a graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music - is the Classic FM Gramophone Awards 2009 Young Artist of the Year.

Wang makes her Carnegie Hall orchestral debut Oct. 13 with the Philadelphia Orchestra and Charles Dutoit in Prokofiev's Piano Concert No. 2, just after performances of the same piece in Philadelphia Oct. 8, 9 and 10.
