Watching the lefties going crazy on Chris Matthews and Ed Schultz. They want Obama to come out fighting for his "base". Very shrill, very angry and if that's what Obama does he will get wiped out in the mid terms. History I think bears this out, Americans really dislike far lefties.

So the two options on philly.com for the 0bama SOTU address are Dick Polman and Will The Shill Bunch - two 0bamatons.... Another reason I will never pay one dime for either paper. No diversity of thought. Unfair and unbalanced.

tr88: You forgot to mention in your post Americans really dislike far righties too like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck. Let's keep the right wing posts on here fair and balanced.

You Republican are a disgrace. That was an excellent speech that clearly laid out the critical issues facing our country. Now I'm listening to the pathetic Republican response. They are calling for a return to the Bush/Cheney policies. Complete frauds touting the same old rhetoric. Nothing but empty words. They have no relationship to the actions Republicans have taken and ignore the failure that these very policies to produce the results that they are again promising. These aren't new ideas. They've been tried and were a disaster, Despite the all Republican applause sound track, the Republican response is a joke.
