Philly flash mob in China

What an unexpected and delightful surprise it was for airline passengers to be greeted by a pop-up performance by members of the Philadelphia Orchestra this week.

While stuck on the tarmac for three hours waiting for a flight from Beijing to Macao, the orchestra treated the fatigued passengers to a taste of what they are performing as part of their 2013 Residency and Fortieth Anniversary Tour of China.

Their selection? Dvořák's String Quartet No.12 in F "American": IV. Finale (Vivace ma non troppo)
