To honor the memory of Robert Burns, Scotland's best known poet, Border Springs Farm in Reading Terminal Market will sell haggis - the traditional dish of lamb and grains - prepared by chef Nick Macri in January.

It will be available in small (1 to  2 pound) and large (3 to 4 pound) sizes.

Although Border Springs Farm will have some available in its meat case, it is best to reserve by calling the shop at 215-627-2100 or email rtm@borderspringsfarm.com.

Border Springs Farm will also be serving a special haggis lunch dish the week of Robert Burns birthday (which falls Jan. 25) at its Reading Terminal Market lunch counter.

Also, Macri will join chef Brian Ricci for the annual Robert Burns birthday dinner at Kennett on Friday, Jan. 24. A special Scottish inspired menu will be available throughout the evening - there is no special seating. Reservations are encouraged.
