Capitals coach not critical of Flyers' Bellemare

Washington coach Barry Trotz wasn't critical Wednesday of Flyers center Pierre-Edouard Bellemare, who received a one-game suspension for his hit on Dmitry Orlov late in the Capitals 6-1 win on Monday.

Bellemare, a fourth-line center and key penalty killer, checked Orlov from behind and will sit out Game 4 tonight at the Wells Fargo Center. The Capitals are aiming to sweep the best-of-seven series.

"I can tell you this about the Philadelphia player from coaching against him this year: He doesn't seem like a player who is looking for those vicious hits and contact," Trotz said after Wednesday's morning skate. "I think he is a pretty honest player; whatever the league decides, we are OK with."
