Nine possessions, nine touchdowns.

"That's perfection," West Deptford senior running back David Hamilton said.

West Deptford was pretty close to perfect on Monday night, rolling to a 62-0 victory over Sterling in a Colonial Conference Liberty Division game that was postponed by Friday night's thunderstorms.

"I like where we are right now," West Deptford coach Clyde Folsom said after the game at Gateway High School.

West Deptford built a 35-0 lead at halftime and held a 48-0 edge after three quarters. The Eagles' second-string offense scored a pair of touchdowns in the fourth quarter.

West Deptford (5-0), the No. 7 team in The Inquirer Top 25, has topped 60 points in three games this season.

Since beating archrival Haddonfield 10-0 in the season opener, West Deptford has scored 234 points in its last four games (58.5-point average).

Hamilton scored the first touchdown on a 67-yard run on West Deptford's second play. He finished with three carries for 85 yards.

Junior Quran Dozier (pictured left with Hamilton) carried four times for 118 yards and two TDs.

Senior quarterback Nick Diaco had a big game with 133 rushing yards and two TDs on seven carries as well as a 35-yard TD pass on the last play of the first half.

"Nick is getting more and more comfortable," Folsom said of Diaco, who is playing quarterback at the varsity level for the first time this season.

West Deptford has a bye week before playing at Collingswood (3-2) on Oct. 23.

"That might be our toughest game," Folsom said.
