Hoops: Fords' Alston gains offer from Notre Dame

Haverford School's Levan "Shawn" Alston, a rising junior guard, has added a scholarship offer from Notre Dame.

The 6-foot-3, 170-pounder also has offers from Harvard, La Salle, Penn, Penn State, Rhode Island, Seton Hall, St. Joseph's, Temple, Virginia Commonwealth, and Wichita State.

Alston averaged 16.5 points per game last season while helping lead the Fords to a 16-8 overall record and 7-3 mark in the Inter-Ac League.
