Kobe Bryant Scholastic Play-By-Play Classic

The Kobe Bryant Scholastic Play-By-Play Classic, featuring four of Southeastern Pennsylvania's top-10 squads, will be played Saturday at two sites: Harriton and Lower Merion.

The marquee matchup of the five-game event at Harriton is the 6:15 p.m. clash between No. 6-ranked Imhotep Charter, the defending PIAA Class AAA champion, and No. 9 Chester.

At 2:45 at Harriton, No. 8 Haverford School will take on South Kent (Ct.). That will be followed, at 4:30, by No. 5 Martin Luther King vs. Sanford (Del.).

Among the three games at Lower Merion is the 7:30 p.m. contest between the host Aces, defending Class AAAA state champs, and undefeated New Castle, of suburban Pittsburgh.

Lower Merion defeated New Castle, 67-63, in a state semifinal last season.
