Saint Joseph's Golf Team Places 12th at Hartford Hawk Invitational

SOUTH KENT, Conn. - The Saint Joseph's golf team shot a team-low 308 in Tuesday's final round of the Hartford Hawk Invitational to finish 12th overall in the 17-team field. Individually, T.J. Summers led the squad, tying for 27th after carding a one-under-par 71 today at Bull's Bridge Golf Club (par 72/6,992 yards).

Summers led the squad, tying for 27th after carding a one-under-par 71 today at Bull's Bridge Golf Club (par 72/6,992 yards).

As a team, Saint Joseph's shot 309-311-308/928 over the course of two days. Rutgers, who held a one-stroke lead for the team title after the second round, claimed the team title by nine strokes over host Hartford with a score of 868.

Individually, Summers posted a three-round score of 80-76-71/227, while Tyler Kingsley tied for 38th at 73-79-79/231. Connor Garrity finished in a tie for 50th with a final score of 80-75-79/234, with T.J. McNulty tying for 56th place at 76-81-79/236. Tim Godshalk rounded out the five-man squad tying for 75th at 81-81-81/243.

Hartford's Evan Russell won Medalist honors by five strokes with a three-round score of nine-under-par 207.

Saint Joseph's returns to action next Monday and Tuesday at the Joe Agee Invitational.
