Football: Week One schedule

Week One of the South Jersey football season will be spread over three days, as many teams will open Thursday, Sept. 12 to account for the Jewish Holiday of Yom Kippur.
Among the best games on Thursday will be Shawnee at Kingsway in WJFL National action; Washington Twp. at Eastern in WJFL American and Willingboro at Burlington Township in the WJFL Patriot.
Friday night, Sept. 13 features Hammonton at Holy Spirit and St. Joseph at Absegami in a key Cape American clashes as well as Timber Creek at Camden Catholic in the WJFL Constitution.
The action on Saturday, Sept. 14 will include Glassboro at Penns Grove in the WJFL Diamond, Delsea at Camden in the WJFL Royal and Woodbury at Haddon Heights in a Colonial cross-over game.
