Phils in rain delay - tied 3-3

NOTE: THE GAME HAS RESUMED AFTER A 41-MINUTE RAIN DELAY

The Phillies and Chicago White Sox are tied 3-3 and there is currently a rain delay as the Phils wait to bat in the bottom of the ninth inning.

Jonathan Papelbon just pitched a scoreless ninth for the Phillies.

The rain delay began at 5:59 p.m.

These two teams have a second game of this day/night double header scheduled at 8:15.

Chicago tied the score on a two-run double by Alejandro De Aza in the fifth innignand went ahead on Conor Gillaspie's sacrifice fly off starter Jonathan Pettibone in the sixth.


Darin Ruf's solo home run to center tied the score in the seventh.
