A Mix of Old and New in the Franklin Square Old City Boutique

This lovely local women's store in the "boutique row" section of Old City carries urban, ethereal and vintage-inspired clothes for women from labels such as Wearhouse, Nymphe, Moon Collection and its Alice Moon line. Knits by Uniq, shoes from Lovely People, & pretty rose blouses from S. line are among some of the hard to find brands carried in this old city shop. Men's vintage tees hanging from clotheslines on the walls and, although quaint, the store decor, vintage and antique collection for home is fully stocked. The wall of shelves are lined with quirky knick knacks like $5 vintage postcards found in your great aunt's row home to glass picture frames filled with jewelry, accessories, & $12 printed ties. Pretty dresses and scarves hanging on pipes and tables are filled with shoes and belts. Candles by Pennsylvania-made, local brand, Duke & Winston are sold here and their dog accessories will be in stock soon.  Little dog owners are going to freak at the brand's leather collars & leashes, cotton doggie hoodies and UK-inspired nautical bedding in seersucker fabrics.  The merchandise is very affordable, priced around $40-$70 and shoes starting around $30 with vintage boots and heels scattered throughout the space. Franklin Square just started carrying the new denim line,  Articles of Society, from a designer who originally started their careers with Hudson and Antik Denim, Theory and Vince. Venturing out on their own, the company manufactures its jeans in Los Angeles to cut overhead costs so each designer denim pant costs around $54. Other denim brands carried are Two Way Denim, Red Engine, and Blue Lab.
