Football: Haverford School's Reed now bound for Temple

Haverford School's Sema'j Reed, a 6-foot-7, 285-pound lineman, is now headed to Temple. He had first committed to the University at Buffalo.

Reed played offensive tackle and defensive end for the Fords, earning second-team all-Inter-Academic League honors on defense. He was slowed early in the season by an ankle injury.

"Physically, his stature made it tough for other teams to handle him," Haverford School coach Michael Murphy said.

Reed, who is projected to be an offensive tackle for the Owls, is a quality rebounder and inside scorer in basketball.

National Signing Day is Wednesday.
