Galloway probable for Xavier game

St. Joseph’s guard Langston Galloway is listed as probable for Saturday’s 6 p.m. Atlantic 10 matchup with Xavier at Hagan Arena.

St. Joseph's guard Langston Galloway is listed as probable for Saturday's 6 p.m. Atlantic 10 matchup with Xavier at Hagan Arena.

Galloway was poked in the left eye with 2 minutes and 19 seconds remaining in the first half and never returned during Wednesday's 73-64 loss to visiting St. Bonaventure.

After the game, he said he had some blurry vision but that even by then it was clearing up. Galloway has returned to practice.

He will be out for redemption after going scoreless in Wednesday's loss. Galloway is second on the team in scoring, averaging 14.6 points per game.

The Hawks (10-7 overall, 1-3 A-10) will be looking to break a four-game losing streak against Xavier (11-7, 4-1).

One can expect a fairly low scoring game. Xavier is 15th in the A-10 in scoring offense, averaging 64.8 points, but the Musketeers are second in scoring defense, allowing 60.8 points.

The Hawks are averaging 69.9 points, which is eighth and are allowing 65.4 ppg., which is 11th.
