    Sure current law bars it but laws can be changed at the drop of the hat and he is guarding against it for us. How come you guys only fact check what the NRA says and not what all the anti-gun people say that doesn't even come close to being true?

    Dear Fact Check: In the FBI fact sheet, the NICS procedures apply to all firearms purchases. Consequently, what is Obama proposing to expand "all firearms purchases?

    FBI: The NICS is not to be used to establish a federal firearm registry; information about an inquiry resulting in an allowed transfer is destroyed in accordance with NICS regulations. Sure I believe that.
