Dan Gross: Tolly's contract not renewed
- FOX 29 sports director Don Tollefson's contract at Fox 29 was not renewed yesterday, a station spokeswoman has confirmed. Tollefson, 55, returned to Fox 29 Sunday night after being out since early April recovering from a car accident, but was off air Monday night, when the station told us he was "back on leave."
- U.S. SEN. Arlen Specter is bumping elbows with many more people than usual these days. Literally. The Pennsylvania powerhouse can't shake hands for fear of germs while battling cancer, so he's been greeting people with a gentle elbow tap.
- JOCELYN KIRSCH, on house arrest in the area, could be living somewhere on the Main Line. Kirsch was spotted Thursday afternoon shopping in Suburban Square and possibly leaving the Ardmore Farmers Market. She was accompanied by a large bodyguard type, says our spy, who knew that he had seen Kirsch because of the ankle bracelet on her leg.
