A ducky time at Please Touch

Splash will highlight transit-themed events.

Children can meet Splash, the Ride the Ducks mascot, and walk on a duck vehicle Saturday at the Please Touch Museum.

Ride the Ducks, an amphibious sightseeing tour, will bring vehicles to the museum from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Children will learn about a unique form of transportation that travels on land and sea.

Ride the Ducks is participating in the museum's special two-month celebration in July and August called Planes, Trains & Automobiles. The event highlights the theme of transportation throughout the museum's gallery floor. During these months, kids can enjoy daily activities in the museum's Elaine Wideman-Vaughn Program Room such as painting with vehicles, paint a vehicle, zip line vehicles, Kid K'Nex, Play Dough, toddler blocks, Tonka trucks, and construction blocks. August activities include building a rocket, map making, license-plate rubbings, and more.
