Cape all-star games won't be rescheduled
The Cape-Atlantic League senior girls' and boys' all-star soccer games at St. Augustine have been canceled again.
Originally scheduled for last Monday, the games were called off because of inclement weather, and officials at St. Augustine said they didn't expect the event to be rescheduled.
However, a new date was found, and the all-star games were rescheduled for Dec. 1. Yesterday, St. Augustine athletic director Tony Iaconelli released the following statement announcing the games were canceled:
"Due to numerous scheduling conflicts with both coaches and participants, we will be unable to host the CAL Senior All-Star games on Tuesday, Dec. 1. No makeup day will be scheduled. We hope to resume this event next season." - Marc Narducci
