Strenge commits to Maryland
Holy Ghost Prep senior pitcher Andrew Strenge has orally committed to play baseball at Maryland.
The 6-foot-1, 175-pound Strenge, of Yardley, struck out 61 batters in 43 innings last season for the Firebirds. Doubling as a shortstop, he batted .375 with seven extra-base hits, including a pair of home runs.
