Mayberry, Leon lift IronPigs
PAWTUCKET, R.I. - John Mayberry Jr. and Carlos Leon hit solo homers yesterday as the Lehigh Valley IronPigs earned a 4-2 International League victory over the Pawtucket Red Sox.
Lehigh starter Joe Savery allowed five hits and two runs over 52/3 innings to get the win. He is a combined 15-5 this year at Reading and Lehigh.

NEW BRITAIN, Conn. - The Rock Cats rallied for two runs in the seventh inning on Juan Portes' RBI double and Brandon Roberts' RBI single to beat the Phillies in the Eastern League.

TRENTON - Austin Krum's RBI double in the bottom of the seventh lifted the Thunder past the Fisher Cats in the opener of an Eastern League doubleheader.
New Hampshire won the nightcap, shelling Jeremy Bleich for six runs in three innings.
