Freedoms fall in season opener
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Travis Parrott and Surina De Beer provided the only victory last night for the Freedoms in their World Team Tennis season opener.
Despite the win in mixed doubles, the Freedoms fell to the Springfield Lasers, 21-13, in the Mediacom Tennis Stadium at Cooper Tennis Complex.
Parrott and De Beer defeated the team of Chanelle Scheepers and Martin Damm, 5-1.
