IronPigs top Tides with big inning

ALLENTOWN - The Lehigh Valley IronPigs broke up a no-hitter by Chris Tillman in the seventh inning, erupting for six runs en route to a 6-1 victory over the Norfolk Tides in the International League.

Andy Tracy doubled with one out for the IronPigs' first hit. Terry Tiffee followed with an RBI single to tie the score. J.J. Furmaniak's two-run double finished off the rally.

The Tides stranded 10 baserunners as Lehigh Valley's Rodrigo Lopez picked up the victory.

Reading 8, Trenton 3

TRENTON - Michael Taylor's three-run homer in the sixth inning helped the Phillies pull away from the Thunder in the Eastern League.

Delmarva 7, Lakewood 2

LAKEWOOD, N.J. - Tyler Kolodny's two-run homer in the eighth sparked a five-run rally as the Shorebirds handed the BlueClaws a South Atlantic League loss. Kolodny hit a pair of home runs.

Long Island 4, Camden 3

Homers by Matt Cavagnaro and Johnny Hernandez sparked the Ducks past the Riversharks in an Atlantic League game at Camden's Campbell's Field.
