IronPigs explode for 16-run night
DURHAM, N.C. - David Newhan ripped a grand slam and doubled in another run to lead the Lehigh Valley IronPigs past the Charlotte Knights, 16-8, in the International League last night.
Miguel Cairo and Mike Cervenak each drove in three runs and Mike Spidale was 4 for 5 and raised his average to .344 for Lehigh Valley.
