Trenton and Camden register shutouts

TRENTON - Wilkin De La Rosa allowed only two hits and struck out eight in six innings as the Trenton Thunder shut out the Bowie Baysox, 8-0, last night in the Eastern League.

Kanekoa Texeira followed up with three shutout innings, allowing one hit.

Edwar Gonzalez went 2 for 4 with a triple, two runs scored and two RBIs.

Camden 1, Newark 0

Brian Lawrence pitched seven shutout innings to win a pitcher's duel with Shawn Chacon as the Riversharks beat the Bears in an Atlantic League game at Campbell's Field.

Frederick Torres drove in the game's only run with a fourth-inning single.
