The Anselma Mill

Students in Drexel University's Digital Media program have begun recreating exact 3D replicas of colonial era structures for use in educational programs.

The Anselma Mill in Chester Springs, PA was recreated to allow visitors to view the inner workings of the Mill without the risk of personal danger. Taking the mechanism from the top and bottom, the animation allows viewers to see the transference of energy and the intricate structure of the mill's interlocking parts. Models and animation by Arvind Neelakantan.
