Plaque dedication for Gulf Refinery firefighters

Relatives, city and fire officials were among 200 people who gathered outside the Fireman’s Hall Museum on Second Street near Race Street to honor eight firefighters who died battling the August 17, 1975, blaze at the Gulf Oil Refinery in South Philadelphia.
