Mural Arts Program brings cultures together

Students from Dublin, Ireland, and Olney High School worked together to create a mural celebrating global heritage on the outer wall of the school's gymnasium. Both groups of students come from troubled neighborhoods, and as a result, relationships were formed as the Irish students visited at the beginning and end of summer. The mural was sponsored by the Philadelphia Mural Arts Program.

The Olney High School group hopes to raise money to travel to Ireland next year to paint a mural.
