Raising a Flag for Dr. King

Mayor Michael Nutter and City Councilwoman Jannie Blackwell helped raise a flag in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Tuesday at Drexel University. The flag, created in 1997 by Joseph T. Finn, president of Automated Builders Consortium Foundation (ABC Foundation), represents Dr. King’s mission of peace, love and brotherhood. The flag has flown in Atlantic City, N.J., and Finn plans to fly it in cities nationwide. Video by STEVEN BENJAMIN / Inquirer Online Producer
