Monday's Child: Zymir, 12, has varied interests

Zymir is a friendly, outgoing 12-year-old with a brilliant smile. His many interests include traveling, camping, driving remote-control cars, and playing guitar. He also enjoys cooking, so he was delighted to have the opportunity recently to visit a bakery, where he spent time with the owner and expressed his creative side in making and decorating cupcakes.

Zymir prides himself on his fashion sense and style and always tries to wear what is hip and cool.

Enrolled in the sixth grade, he is very bright and is proud when he receives an A on his report card. Zymir's favorite school activities are playing instruments in music class and conducting experiments in the science lab.

Zymir wants very much to be adopted. Because of the many moves and losses he has endured, he needs a patient, consistent, two-parent family who will focus a great deal of attention on him and will respect and encourage his creative side. He loves puppies and hopes the family will have a pet. It would be best if Zymir is the youngest or only child in the home. He is close to his brother and sister, and it is important that they remain in contact.

Zymir and other children are available for adoption. For information, contact Jason Monn at the National Adoption Center.
