Chinese university president to visit Holy Family
Holy Family University will host Chen Shuping, president of Guizhou University in China, as part of its International Friendship Day at its Philadelphia campus today.
Guizhou, with 41,965 undergraduate and graduate students, is the state college of Guizhou province in southwest China. Chen will give a speech titled "Global Education From the Chinese Viewpoint" during his visit.
Holy Family has had a relationship with the university for several years, which intensified in May 2007, when they agreed in writing to exchange visits of faculty and students, and explore the possibility of sharing academic programs.
Chen is also scheduled to visit West Chester University today. - Susan Snyder
