Man killed in fiery Delco crash identified

Police yesterday identified the man killed in a fiery crash Wednesday in Delaware County.

State police said the body of Thomas Lynam, 84, of Brookhaven, was found in the driver's seat of a silver 2003 Chevrolet Malibu along Creek Road in Middletown Township. When rescue workers arrived at 2:30 p.m., the car was engulfed in flames. Investigators have not determined what caused the fire or whether Lynam was alive when it started. - Sam Wood and Mari A.
