Traffic-light cameras set for 4 Phila. intersections
Four busy Philadelphia intersections are set to get traffic-light cameras later this year, the Philadelphia Parking Authority announced yesterday.
The cameras will be stationed at Henry Avenue and Walnut Lane, Rising Sun and Adams Avenues, Aramingo and Castor Avenues, and Aramingo Avenue and York Street, according to the agency.
The cameras are scheduled to be installed this fall and drivers will be given a two-month grace period. After that, drivers who run red lights at these intersections will face a $100 fine. - Robert Moran
