Man dead in triple shooting at Frankford bar

A 25-year-old man was killed in a triple shooting inside a Frankford bar early yesterday, police said. Dallas Custalow of the 1300 block of Anchor Street was shot in the stomach at 1:30 a.m. at the Irish Kitchen at 1257 Pratt St. He was pronounced dead at Temple University Hospital.

A 20-year-old man was shot in the back of the head and was in critical condition at Albert Einstein Medical Center. The other victim, in his 30s, was in stable condition at Hahnemann University Hospital after a bullet struck his right leg.

Philadelphia Police Lt. Frank Vanore said the shootings were under investigation. "Our initial information is, a few people were taken in for questioning," he said.

A spokeswoman for the city said that the bar would be examined by the Department of Licenses and Inspections nuisance task force after police had completed their investigation.
